Sing Canada Harmony
believes that vocal music, particularly four-part a cappella harmony in the Barbershop Style, plays a vital role in the development of healthy, creative and responsible members of society. This belief results in a commitment towards ensuring equal access to vocal music arts for people of all ages, but particularly the children and youth of Canada, and the men and women who facilitate their learning to enrich lives through singing.

We thank every individual who supports vocal music in Canada; each quartet and chapter, each chorus member and director, each District, Region and Area for their support to help Sing Canada Harmony change lives through singing.

Your gift will make a difference, giving young people the opportuntiy to live life to the fullest, finding joy in harmony with others. They will realize, as you do, that singing is one of life's most rewarding experiences.

Ambassadors of Song
We believe the world is a better place when there is singing. Singing brings enjoyment for a lifetime, to both the singer and the listener. You can do a whole lot of good for only a few dollars a month.

Sponsor a Scholarship for someone to attend a Harmony Explosion Camp with a gift of $60. Singing can start young people in a lifetime activity that will give them and others more than they could ever imagine.

Anyone wishing to embark on a planned giving program may donate a minimum of $60.00 per year. For as little as $5.00 per month payable through this website on your credit card, you can sponsor one young person’s admission to a Harmony Explosion Camp or similar program. This is a program that all barbershoppers can afford to participate in, one that will probably lead to a lifetime of planned philanthropy. There is no better way to get started, doing your part to ensure that future generations will benefit immeasurably from your gift, no matter the size.

Ambassadors of Song enjoy the following benefits:

  • Name on Sing Canada Harmony website each year that donations reach $60.00
  • Name badges
Minimum donation is $60.00 per annum.

Tribute Giving
It can be difficult to find words that describe the truly special times in our lives and the special people in our lives. How do you express the joy of a newborn life or the grief for a lost loved one or the gratitude for a lifetime of support and friendship? Or, how do you just express a message of love and caring to someone special on a birthday, an anniversary or some other special day?

There is a way to demonstrate these unspoken sentiments with a powerful, positive action. Use one of the giving methods below and let Sing Canada Harmony communicate the special message that your contribution will send.

Minimum donation for inclusion on the “Keep a Melody Ringing” plaque is $1,000.00.

There is no minimum for other tribute gifts, however tax receipts can only be issued for gifts of $20.00 or more.

Ensemble of Excellence
Our singing group believes the world is a better place when there is singing throughout our schools and communities. We want to share the joy of singing with a gift from our group because we have experienced the thrill of the sound of our quartet and/or the Chorus/Choir/Chorale along with the feeling of togetherness and strength that group fellowship brings.

We know that singing can start young people in a lifetime activity that will give them and others more than they could ever imagine. Our gift is to make that possible.

We encourage every quartet, chorus and choral group to donate a portion of their earnings to the Sing Canada Harmony Fund to support vocal music programs. Such musical ensembles will receive the following benefits:

  • Official Certificate suitable for framing acknowledging the gift
  • Name of ensemble on SCH website each year that donations are received
  • Mention in Newsletter and Annual Report
Minimum donation is $20.00 per ensemble member.
